The Asian American Studies (AAST) Graduate Student Advisory Board helps with programming, especially planning the yearly Asian American Studies Research Symposium. This group has also launched a new Asian American Studies reading group. The graduate advisory board plans occasional social networking events, such as meet-and- greets with AAST faculty affiliates. These events offer a great way to get to know leading scholars from various disciplines.
